James Tomiczek is President and Co-Founder of VISION Engineering and Development Services, Inc., a multi-disciplined engineering, design and surveying firm headquartered in Sevierville, Tennessee.
Since co-founding the company in 2002, James has helped build VISION into a leading engineering firm in the Southeast. VISION has garnered national recognition as witnessed by its surprisingly swift growth in the industry. As of 2006, VISION has reached an annual volume for services of more than $4 million.
James has helped make VISION a local leader because he recognizes the value of the individuals comprising the firm. He believes individual effort is an integral part of a team effort. And when the team acts with integrity, honesty and decisiveness in serving the customer, there is no more effective partner than VISION.
“For me, VISION represents a unique opportunity,” he says. “We’re a very family-oriented company and it’s very important that everyone here is happy. From that happiness comes the ability to give back to each other and to the community.”
James holds a Master of Engineering Degree in Engineering Management from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. His undergraduate work was completed at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
James and his family enjoy boating, exploring the Great Smoky Mountains, hiking, outdoor activities and experiencing the natural beauty of the East Tennessee region. |
